Where is everyone? it's so quiet in here...
I was the only one in the computer lab earlier, and now there's just one other person. Usually, there are quite a few more people. Many people are away on vacation, or on an externship for the month of August, which makes this school and the clinic much quieter.

Residence is quite warm in temperature...sometimes a little unbearable, making it harder to fall asleep at night, and thus, harder to wake up in the morning and so I'm more tired and unrested during the day :[ I think I need a larger fan in my room instead of the 2 smaller fans.

I'm a little tired from the past few days, and I have to go to work tonight, and finish up some case summaries due by the end of this week.
Saturday, I went to work, and then went straight to Eric/Nicole's Jack & Jill party downtown (at Queen's Quay - nice area) and we went out to eat at 'Armadillo's' for dinner afterward. It was very nice to hang out and catch up with them cuz we haven't as much lately since they've been so busy planning their wedding that is in September.

(Oh, also Congratulations to Lon & Yvonne who were married on Saturday!! - I had to work, so I missed the ceremony - I heard it was very nice though).

Sunday, after service I went to buffet lunch (Oriental Palace) - same place as last week, with family and relatives visiting (my mom's brother and his 2 kids; and my dad's sister and her son are all staying in Burlington right now - zoo at the home, I'm thinking)...it was nice to see them - the thing was, I had planned to go to the 'Taste of the Danforth' for lunch, but had to push that later and go to buffet lunch...soo....
Went to 'Taste of the Danforth' afterward, and couldn't eat much at all - just had a bite of a spinach patty. It rained a bit while we were there, but overall, the weather was ok, and it was fun. After that, we went to Mel Lastman Square cuz they have a swing band playing there every Sunday evening from 7:30-9pm and people can just go there and listen and (swing dance) without a cost to the wallet :) That was fun!
After swinging, we headed over to watch the movie 'SWAT' at Rainbow for the 9:55pm showing - good movie!! and there's not much swearing, which makes it even better :)

I didn't spend much on Sunday, even though it was a jam packed day...so that's a good thing.
Lunch buffet - paid for by the 'older' folks
TTC day pass - $7.75 shared is divided by 2 = < $4/person
Taste of the Danforth, walking around - free!
Spinach patty - $2...someone else's
Swing - free!
Movie - $4.25 (coupon)

Total spent: <$8.25 for the whole day

Now that's worth it, especially for a student as myself don't you think?! :)
