Sleeping on the floor

As soon as I got back from my trip I moved into my new place. A cute little place, unfurnished. I haven't had time to go shopping and buy essential furniture and so I'm sleeping on the floor at the moment, using a blanket as both the underlying cushion and my covers...like a sleeping back. No table, so I've got 2 medium boxes with a sheet to cover them so that I can eat at some sort of table. Fridge was empty for the first couple days. Went to Save-On and T&T to help get me started. I brought a lot of stuff from home which helped a lot. Like my blanket. And a kettle, toaster, grill, utensils, wok, hairdryer, iron, toilet paper, sheets, pillows, radio/alarm clock, bose cd player/stereo (from my dad) and more. Yup...all that in my 2 luggages and carry on. I managed to pack with just barely less than the 50 lb max :) whew!
I have the day off on Friday and plan to go to Ikea and some other places. I checked out Craigslist Vancouver for used stuff...some good stuff, so I'll see what I can get there too.
