Family dinner for Greg's birthday at Lion City in Mississauga :)
Last night, the fam and I went to our fav restaurant to celebrate Greg's birthday (he's 21 now!). Time flies so fast! We ordered all our typical fav dishes and some new ones. I love their chicken mango salad and pad thai or mee goreng for the noodles. My mom loves the goat curry, Greg loves the thai bbq'd chicken and my sister and dad love the flat rice noodle dish with pickled chili. We also had dessert last night for the first time there: sticky rice with mango, sticky rice with durian (!), purple rice dessert, and fried bananas. Mmmm...I enjoyed the dinner last night.
For Greg's b'day I got him a set of Calvin Klein Obsession for Men. He liked it. I like that cologne smell too - along with CK Escape (on guys). Greg's friends in Hamilton threw him a surprise b'day bash on Saturday at Jade restaurant and got him a guitar stand, Jean Paul Gauthier cologne and a dress shirt. Wow...nice friends! And what's crazy is, I was in Hamilton at the time, at Mac and then B&T, and they were just around the corner, and I had NO idea this was going on. I could've popped by and joined the festivities even if it was for a little bit :P Oh well.
I think my bro Greg is going through some similar crossroads as I am at this stage in life, with graduation coming and moving on to another phase/stage in life, with a lot of uncertainty, questions and worries.
It's not easy. Somehow, God has a plan and I/we need to trust in His plan.
