I went to Mitchell's Bookstore again last night...found a few more good sales - bought a couple hardcover books for a total of less than $25...yay...now to find the time to actually read all these books I'm accumulating!! aiyah. I also really really wanted to buy 2 more cds on top of the ones I had already got...I really really wanted them, and even though they were on sale I resisted cuz buying them would be out of my budget! :( I'll just wait til next time to buy them. I'm really happy with the 2 other CDs I got on Tuesday though. They have some of the songs I've wanted for a while now like: "Love You So Much", "Jesus, All for Jesus", "Your Love is Extravagant", and a few more - those songs are soo good, and I was soo happy listening to them finally yesterday night :)

So I'm off to the Genesis Winter Retreat in just a couple hours, leaving here around 5pm. We're going to Collingwood Blue Mountain (yup, the place where me and my family go every year at Christmas time) - so this is pbbly the first time I'm going there with people/friends and not family. It's a very informal retreat, with times for skiing/boarding, singing, eating, sharing. I was up a bit late last night doing last minute things, packing and also trying to figure out which verse to share about (we're asked to pick one to reflect on over the weekend and share about it). I came across some, but still haven't decided on one yet...hopefully will by the time we get there tonight.

I'm gonna try snowboarding this weekend for the first time, with a beginnner package of rentals, lift ticket and lesson (as long as it's not way too cold out - I really don't like skiing/being outdoors when it's too cold out!). I'm so used to going skiing all the time, I don't know how this is gonna turn out. I'll pbbly end up falling all over the place, but I'll pbbly not be the only one, cuz others who are going are also gonna do the beginner snowboarder package too :)
