2009
It's December again, and the holidays are near. It's almost 2010. I say this sometimes even in January, June or July: "time goes by so fast...next thing you know, it'll be Christmas/the holidays. And it is again!
2009-It's been a year of great blessings. Getting married and opening a clinic together a couple months later with my husband has kept me extremely busy for sure. Thus, the lack of posts. Even the week of the wedding itself, there were many meetings with banks, lawyers, and calls from potential contractors at that time who were 'bidding' to build the space. The clinic was built through the summer, and we finally opened in early Fall. Busy, but fun and rewarding. There were many late night and early mornings, then once the clinic opened our schedules slowly steadied as the weeks went on, and dinner/home time went from being at 10pm, to 9pm, to 8pm, and finally some 'normal' hours of 6:30-7:30pm. We ate out (Sushi/Japanese) alot! And now that the schedule is more normal, we're trying to cook at home more.
Being in Whistler this weekend and part of this week is our first break in a long time! Our last venture and relaxing time was immediately after the wedding where we traveled locally for 1 week, and just vegged, rested and ate a lot. Right now, we're still doing 'work' remotely on our computers, but it's not the same as being at work. I finally got to sleep in a little for the past couple days. It's almost a 'weird' feeling to have time off and away. I was in such a sympathetic mode for the longest time, and now that I'm in parasympathetic mode, I can feel the extremes. I hope to go back to it with a balanced mode where I'll be both as needed through the days.
Balance is the key :)
