Life is Fragile
So fragile...at any given time it could be lost. Now is the time to cherish what we have and to appreciate and give thanks for everything, no matter how good or bad things are. Many times life really doesn't seem fair...is it ever? but is life about being fair? Somehow, I don't think it is...we're all humans, we all make mistakes and many consequences of our actions, be it intentional or not will affect our lives and the lives of others, knowingly or unknowingly that may lead to circumstances that deem to be unfair - and in doing so, it seems so easy to ask "why"...and direct that question straight to God..."why God? why? I just don't understand"...If you look around, you'll see sick people, young people dying, tricky people winning, faithful ones suffer, ruthless people conquering - the list goes on...There really is no answer that would suffice the human condition. We are humans and we try to answer these questions on our own terms, trying to understand God's way. But we can't. We'll never. God is God. We are not. As much as I try to reason it, I can't...and even if I do, that's just to make me feel better...is that really understanding God's will and plan?
Isaiah 55:8 - "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways..."...I just don't get it, and maybe I'm not supposed to. Trust.
