When I see the suffering of those who are sick and those who have grown old and have lived their lives, I continue to wonder...why...?

Seeing someone lying in their bed in their last days, thin and weak, full of pain and suffering physically and emotionally (and pbbly spiritually as well) and practically inable to speak and comprehend what's going on, I continue to think, 'what's the point'? Is this what it comes to...? living our lives to this end?

It's hard to put into words the thought process right now...but all I can say is that it's a challenge to my faith.
