Remember to take time to breathe; to appreciate all the beauty created by God around us; to be thankful for all the blessings; to love

Yesterday was busy and productive. Today I did nothing. I'm like a sine wave right now. Waving up and down, up and down...doing so much, then doing nothing, and so on. Sleeping in, then waking early, then sleeping in, and the cycle continues.

Yesterday, I woke at 7am to drive to TO for a health fair held at Consilium place by Telus. It took me 2.5 hours to get there and then find parking. Normally I get really stressed driving for so long being stuck in traffic, and being really late (like by an hour), but I was like, whatever...no point to fret and waste energy, I'll just take it as it goes, and arrive when I can. So I got to the place at like 10:30am and stayed til 3pm talking to people about Naturopathic Medicine, giving them a tongue and pulse assessment (as it is done in Chinese Medicine) and giving out my business cards. That was fun, and I really enjoyed meeting all the different people there. We were one of the most popular booths, it was really cool. A lot of people I talked with have a lot of health concerns that aren't being addressed and treated and really wanted to talk about it with me...It's interesting that many of them also end up sharing qutie a bit about themselves with me while talking, even though I didn't really know them.

And then, in between, from 1-2pm I went to my chiropractor that practices in the same building, so that was quite convenient. After the health fair, I went back to res to chill a bit, and eat (a really late) lunch...I was so hungry! Then after doing some things, I went to my prayer course. Last night was the last night of the course for level I, and the next course for level II isn't until October. It was really good yesterday, and I've learned a lot about prayer and healing through Christ that I hope I can use practically for myself and with others.

Tomorrow, is the up on the sine wave again - interview for a part-time job that I don't even know if I have time for, then go to see the chiropractor again, then maybe do some shopping or something, then planning meeting at night for friends' wedding.

up and down, up and down, up and down...
