Wow. it was a really busy but cool weekend!
After fellowship on Friday, we went to Green Grove and I ran into Jer (an old friend from MAC) there, who was just passing by on his way up from Chicago where he studies now...what a 'chance' mtg!! it was sooo nice to chat and catch up and hang out for the short time there!
Saturday was crazy - with 2 birthday parties at night to go to.
And then Sunday after Service was my school's Open House where I volunteered for a display board on skin conditions, and then for giving free health overviews to people there. It was fun, but very tiring, and I almost lost my voice from talking too much. Then we went to Licks for the 23 cents poutine. That was nice and a fun break to have with friends from school. Then we came back and watched '8 Mile'. It was pretty good, but there was a lot of swearing and stuff, so it was hard on my ears - but overall, interesting to see how fast people can think up rap words and tunes in those rap battles.
