Remember to take time to breathe; to appreciate all the beauty created by God around us; to be thankful for all the blessings; to love

I just got back from Montreal for Medgames at McGill...what a long bus ride; we watched so many movies there and back! We watched like 4 movies on the way there (including 'Spiderman' - I really like that movie) cuz we got a flat tire on our bus which stalled us an extra 2 hrs on the 401...crazy! I think it would've been a good idea if they just played Simpsons episodes one right after the other all the way (marathon)...that'd be non-stop entertainment and laughing! Overall, it was a nice weekend away - got to hang out with classmates, meet new ppl from my school and the other med schools, and also catch up with old friends a bit now at other med schools. Shopping on Saturday afternoon was nice too ;) I must say though, I prefer shopping on my own usually...the only person I can really shop with and enjoy is with my sister. In Montreal, we stayed at the Holiday Inn...quite nice. People were really noisy in the halls in the middle of the night while my roommates and I were sleeping, so I didn't really get to sleep well this weekend...yawn~ oh well...besides this, nothing else interesting to report.

I guess I missed small groups on Friday (T3C) - hadn't missed any up until then, so I've broken my 'perfect attendence' :P. And I haven't been at T3C's service for a while, having been home for the holidays, there was a snowstorm once, and was away this past weekend...feels like I haven't seen my friends and fellowshipped with people there for ages! Hopefully will be there this Friday :)

I just started reading this book "The Four Loves" by C.S. Lewis...boy, it's a deep read for a small thin book - I think it's gonna take me a while to get through it, having to read like each line 2x+ to try to understand what he's trying to say. C.S. Lewis has got some really interesting/good points about the basics of love and how it is seen in humans and its relation with God. I'll pbbly post some quotes from the book here as I read through it. I was gonna bring it on the bus with me this past weekend, but I'm not good with reading in cars/buses. I also want to read through "This Present Darkness" which a friend lent me last year, but I have started it yet.

I want to change the info on the left side column on this site, but I think I need to know html to change the template, and I don't know how, and will take me a while to figure out (I'm not very computer literate)...anyhow hopefully I'll have more interesting info later on...
